Upon arrival at the Rome airport you will be welcomed to Italy by your local concierge as you exit customs into the arrivals hall and privately transferred to your hotel where you will be assisted with check-in procedures, run through your itinerary and answer any questions you may have. Your concierge will ensure your holiday is running smoothly and to your complete gratification. Your local representative is available on the ground to make sure your travel arrangements run flawlessly. He/she is there to assist you and available on the phone for any questions you may have.

Begin your first Italian morning with an American-style buffet breakfast at the hotel to prepare to walk in the footsteps of the Ancient Romans and search for culinary treasure on a hunt through the Trastevere! In the morning, we’ll jump into a themed tour of Rome: How did the Ancient Romans Live? This personalized guided visit to monuments and archaeological sites will be accompanied by illustrative materials, maps, and props to allow you to interact with the history. We’ll visit the Colosseum and Roman Forum and learn about the Gladiator fights, and where “downtown” Rome was - with markets and temples in the Forum. Did you know that Romans liked to play board games? Look closely and you can see the games carved into the stone! We will then explore the secrets of what is underneath the Piazza Navona in the hidden Stadium of Domitian - just recently restored and opened to the public. This will be a different way of understanding the history that adults and children can enjoy. Lunch will be on your own today in Rome. After lunch, private transport will drive us across town to one of the most charming areas of Rome - the neighborhood of Trastevere. In this gorgeous quarter - a labyrinth of tiny cobblestone streets and quiet piazzas full of personality - we have set up a special scavenger hunt! You will have to explore the different shops in the area to find all the ingredients to make the perfect Italian pizza. Talk to the owners of the shops (extra points if you try in Italian!), ask them what their favorite pizza toppings are, and buy those to try - you’d be surprised how creative pizza can get in Italy!

After a delicious American-style buffet breakfast meet your local English Speaking guide and private vehicle at the hotel to prepare for another incredible day in the Eternal City of Rome, Visit St. Peter’s Square, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Vatican Museums. Visiting the Vatican Museums with your children may seem like a daunting task, but your personal guide will know how to make everything understandable and entertaining. Your guide will tell stories throughout the tour with descriptions and anecdotes that will have children curiously interested among the gorgeous hallways of the Museums and, at the end, we’re sure that all will have learned an incredible amount of interesting fun facts that bring history to life. We strive to make these memorable experiences that all will remember for years to come. After a leisurely lunch in a local “trattorias”, your private vehicle will drive you to one of the most charming areas of Rome - the neighborhood of Trastevere. Depart Rome today after your relaxing American-style buffet breakfast at the hotel with your private vehicle and head towards the Renaissance city of Florence En-route enjoy a visit to the Medieval town of Siena have time of a relaxing lunch at leisure (up to 1 hour) before you meet your local guide for a 3 hr walking tour. See the Piazza del Campo, one of the finest main squares in Italy, and the Palazzo Pubblico which has served as Siena's Town Hall since the 1300s. You then have a chance to visit the fabulous Siena Dome considered to be one of the finest Gothic cathedrals in Italy with unforgettable frescoes in the Piccolomini Library. Walk through the medieval streets of the “Contrade (Parish) of the Palio Horse Race, where your expert guide will tell you very interesting stories behind this ancient tradition. All of a sudden you’ll find yourself immerse in a huge medieval garden where you will enjoy a nice coffee or a glass of wine. Before continuing onto your hotel in Florence.

Start your morning with a relaxing American-style buffet breakfast and meet you local English speaking guide for a to prepare to discover one of the most enchanting cities of Italy, fairytale Florence. You will begin our day walking the streets of beautiful Firenze to reach one of its most magnificent piazzas: Piazza della Signoria. An oddly-shaped square has statues and fountains and architecture - but our destination is the centerpiece - the towering medieval fortress of Palazzo Vecchio. In the Children’s Museum of Palazzo Vecchio, you have the possibility to step back in time! The privately-guided theatrical tour, “Invitation to the Court,” will take us on a journey to the time of the reigning Medici family and understand the interesting differences between culture today and in the 16th century. You will get the opportunity to “meet” Duke Cosimo I de’ Medici and the Duchess Eleonora di Toledo - the last of the Medici family to live in Palazzo Vecchio.

Depart Florence this morning after your superb American-style buffet breakfast at the hotel with your private vehicle to prepare for bike rides on ancient city walls of Lucca, and a visit to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa before arriving in your hotel in Levanto. Your first stop will be in Lucca, one of the cities most loved in all of Tuscany for its charm and known for its fortified walls that still surround this remarkable town. Today you will get a bit more active to get an up-close look at those famous walls during a bike tour on top of them! Meet your local guide who accompany you to pick up the bicycles and then start your ride! Cycling in the shade of majestic trees, you will enjoy an incredibly unique panoramic view of the ancient palaces and the beautiful churches of the old town, as well as the surrounding landscape. (In the case of children, it is sufficient to know the height and weight before the arrival, in order to provide suitable bicycles.) After lunch in a typical restaurant (payable locally) continue with your journey to Pisa. Meet Your expert local guide who will accompany you to see one of the most beautiful squares in the world and the home of a gravity-defying tower that still amazes the world today. When you first arrive at the beautiful Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli), you will be captivated by the magnificent leaning tower - but did you know you can also go inside? The climb up is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that we highly encourage you to experience (children under the age of 8 are not allowed) Once you have admired the Tower of Pisa from all angles (including the classic picture in which you pretend to support it to keep as a memento), continue your visit to the other beauty in the Piazza: the Cathedral. Upon completion of the tour head off to your hotel in Levanto.

In the morning, you will depart by private vehicle to experience a full-day excursion to Cinque Terre. In Riomaggiore, you will begin a walk along the captivating Via dell'Amore (The Lovers' Pathway). Unfortunately, part of the path is closed because of past landslides, so you will be able to walk only a little bit - but the walk out on the cliffside is exhilaratingly beautiful and most definitely a prime photo opportunity. Then you will go to Manarola and have free time to explore. This tiny village has a main street decorated with adorable little shops and brightly-colored wooden boats that the fisherman has taken in for the day. You will then take a 15 minute boat ride to the town of Vernazza: this tiny resort is located at the mouth of a river and is naturally protected from the threat of the sea by a rocky promontory - making it the only major docking point in the Cinque Terre. Lunch will be on your own (payable locally) in Vernazza where you will be able to taste some local specialties). Stop en-route at the famous Ferrari Museum in Maranello which is just a few steps from the Ferrari Factory and the Fiorano race track and gives the visitor an engaging journey through the cars that have made the history. Composed of three floors, the museum includes a permanent exhibition dedicated to Formula 1 and the World Championships five halls that offer thematic exhibitions of great interest. There is a Cinema Hall, there are the semi-professional Formula 1 simulators, an opportunity to sit behind the wheel of a Ferrari to have your picture taken, the Ferrari Store and a cafeteria. After lunch at leisure you will be privately transferred to your hotel in Venice where the remainder of the day will be at leisure.

Meet your local English speaking guide and visit the famous center of Venice to St. Mark's Square - a place extraordinarily rich in historical and artistic value and since the beginning of the 9th century. And the Basilica with its shimmering gold-leaf mosaics, the altar screen with its gems, pearls and enamels. Our visit takes an exciting turn as you enter the Doge's Palace for a treasure hunt! The book Carnival at Candlelight by Mary Pope Osborne, illustrated by Sal Murdocca is the inspiration for this engaging activity that will captivate your attention throughout the tour. You will help complete their mission in the storybook by solving riddles, drawing strange creatures, and listening to tales from long past! You will walk throughout luxurious chambers full of art and treasures and then cross the famous Bridge of Sighs to explore the ancient prisons where you can even see graffiti from the prisoners! After a leisurely lunch you will be accompanied by your concierge to escape into a world of creativity and mystery by meeting a mask artisan in his laboratory and learning how to make and decorate a real Venetian mask! Then, you will receive your own pre-made white mask and given all the tools of the trade – from paints to accessories - to become a Venetian Mask-Maker for a night. Gondola ride Enjoy the magic atmosphere of this enchanting city with a gondola ride through the narrow canals where you will be able to see Venice form a different perspective. You will be escorted to the best gondola’s stop to enjoy your 30 minutes ride.
